Children with autism, including those without intellectual disability, experience poor social development and adjustment, as well as difficulties with language communication skills that can prevent the severity of these impairments. The statistical population of this research was made up of all elementary school boys with autism disorder without intellectual disability in the city of Tehran who referred to Tehran autism centers in the second half of 1401, and among them, a statistical sample of 130 people was selected by sampling method. In this research, children's communication checklist of the second edition (parent form), social skills questionnaire (parent form) and children's behavior assessment system (parent form) were used and for statistical analysis, multiple regression statistical method was used. The results showed that both structural and pragmatic language communication skills can predict social and adaptive skills and behavioral problems (p<0.01), but the role of pragmatic language in predicting social and adaptive skills and behavioral problems was greater. Therefore, very important, language can be a target to improve social skills, adaptation and behavioral problems of children with autism without mental disorder.
