The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic values of complete blood count-based inflammatory markers in patients with urinary tract infection. Methods: In this case-control study, 95 patient in the case group and 40 healthy individuals in the control group were studied. A questionnaire was used. In medical laboratory a blood sample was taken from each subject to assess the complete and differential white blood cell count, and other hematological parameters. Then, neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), neutrophil to monocyte ratio (NMR), and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) were determined. The relationship between variables was determined by using the correlation analysis. The diagnostic values were analyzed by ROC procedures. Results: In this study, in patients mean age was 40.62±7.73 and in healthy subjects was 38.25±6.91. Leukocyte count, the number of neutrophils and monocytes were significantly different between the two groups but insignificant difference was observed in the number of lymphocytes and platelets. The NLR and PLR values showed a significant increase compared to the control group but there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of NMR. In addition, the NLR and NMR were significantly correlated with WBC count but no significant relationship was observed between PLR and WBC count. Conclusion: The finding showed that the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio tests have low sensitivity and specificity as inflammatory markers in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection despite the observed significant differences.}, keywords = {Inflammation" lymphocyte" Monocyte" Neutrophil" Platelet" Urinary Tract Infection}, title_fa = {بررسی ارزش تشخیصی مارکرهای التهابی مبتنی بر شمارش کامل خون در زنان مبتلا به عفونت ادراری}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: هزینه بالا و زمانبر بودن کشت ادرار به عنوان روش تشخیصی استاندارد، اهمیت شناسایی برخی مارکرهای تشخیصی جدید را مطرح میکند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف ارزیابی ارزش مارکرهای التهابی مبتنی بر شمارش کامل خون در بیماران مبتلا به عفونت ادراری انجام شد. روش پژوهش: این مطالعه مورد- شاهدی بر روی 95 نفر به عنوان گروه مورد و 40 نفر به عنوان گروه شاهد انجام گرفت. دادهها بوسیله پرسشنامه جمعآوری شدند. از افراد حاضر در آزمایشگاه تشخیص طبی یک نمونه خون جهت بررسی شمارش کامل و افتراقی گلبولهای سفید به همراه دیگر پارامترهای هماتولوژیکی گرفته شد. سپس نسبت نوتروفیل به لنفوسیت (NLR)، نسبت نوتروفیل به منوسیت (NMR) و نسبت پلاکت به لنفوسیت (PLR) تعیین گردید. آزمون آماری همبستگی برای تعیین ارتباط بین متغیرها استفاده گردید. ارزش تشخیصی نیز با استفاده از منحنی ROC تعیین شد. یافته ها: در این مطالعه میانگین سنی گروه مورد 73/7±62/40 و میانگین سنی گروه شاهد 91/6±25/38 بود. مقایسه شمارش لکوسیتی، تعداد نوتروفیلها و منوسیتها بین دو گروه تفاوت معنیداری را نشان داد. با این حال تفاوت معنیداری در تعداد لنفوسیتها و پلاکتها مشاهده نگردید. میزان NLR و PLR افزایش معنیداری را در مقایسه با گروه شاهد نشان داد درحالی که اختلاف معنی داری در بین دو گروه از لحاظ میزان NMR وجود نداشت. بعلاوه، میزان NLR و NMR ارتباط معنیداری با تعداد WBC داشت ولی این ارتباط معنی دار بین میزان PLR و تعداد WBC مشاهده نشد.  نتیجه گیری: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که نسبت نوتروفیل به لنفوسیت و نسبت پلاکت به لنفوسیت علی رغم تفاوت معنی دار، از  حساسیت و  اختصاصیت پایین به عنوان مارکرهای التهابی در تشخیص عفونت ادراری برخوردار هستند.}, keywords_fa = {التهاب" پلاکت" عفونت دستگاه ادراری" نوتروفیل" لنفوسیت" منوسیت}, url = {https://journal.astara.ir/article_246133.html}, eprint = {https://journal.astara.ir/article_246133_508a7fca147b14b78e5c39106eb5ca18.pdf} }
